Timber is long, heavy and awkward to handle, so how an order is delivered depends on what is in it as much as where it is going.

Two ways to get your order

Warehouse pickup

Orders can be collected from the JBM warehouse. The collection location and the time your order will be ready are confirmed by JBM on your order, because it depends on what you have ordered and whether it needs to be cut or made up.

Victorian delivery

JBM delivers across Victoria. Freight is calculated from the delivery address together with the length, weight and handling of the products in your order, so it is confirmed before your order is accepted rather than estimated on the product page.

A postcode on its own does not tell us whether a truck can reach an address or whether a long load can be unloaded there, so we confirm the delivery rather than quoting a figure that might not hold.

How ordering works

Choose your size and quantity

Each product page works out the pieces, metres, sheets or packs you need, and the price as you go.
Delivery or pickup

Check your postcode. Where a delivery can’t be priced automatically, the JBM team quotes it before anything is dispatched.
Order, or ask for a quote

Place your order, or send your list as a quote request for larger and trade jobs.

Interstate, oversized and special handling

Interstate deliveries, oversized loads and anything needing special handling are quoted manually. Your order is saved with freight marked as pending, the JBM team prices the freight, and you are told the figure before anything is dispatched.
